When I first started photography I started with a Canon 7D I always loved having a cropped sensor. Although throughout the years my camera’s changed I always had a soft spot for the canon 7D when the Canon RF Mirrorless line came out it took me a long time to get on board and do the switch but the DSLR line can be heavy and with having essential tremors in one hand the struggles became real especially with heavier lenses. So I gave in and opted to start out again with the Canon RF EOS R7. This camera is light, and very forgiving for focusing when you have a slight shake and it is quick on focusing, love the cropped sensor and the images are very comparable to the 7D. Some differences like the on/off button with video is a little different when you are used to the on off being in the left side and the video as a separate button now it’s on the right but the differences are small and easily adjusted to. All in all if you are planning to take your photography to the next level the R7 is a great place to start!
