I tried both shoulder support and back support bras but preferred the back support for comfort. The band around the torso of the back support bra is made of a softer flexible material than the shoulder support which is more like elastic. I give the back support bras and A+ and the shoulder support bra a B+

The zip up shoulder support bra is great for up older women who need more support in lifting up our breasts. The bra relieves pressure from the shoulders, supports the back, and holds the upper torso as a unit. However, due to a mid-torso bulge, the band around the bra was snug in the zip up shoulder bra. I had ordered the back support bra at the same time as the shoulder bra. I found the zip up back support bra to have the same support as the shoulder bra, but it had a softer band, made of different material and was not tight. I returned the zip up support shoulder bra because the band was too snug. I kept the zip up support back bra because it was more comfortable. Kudo to both bras for comfort and support. There are removal pads in both bras which is also a plus for me. I like the bras without pads. The cups are double lined and thick enough to supply ample coverage. Sizing is important. If you have a mid-torso bulge, get the size large than the band measurement for best fit and comfort.
