The Confident Stitch

I stumbled into the Confident Stitch Fall of 2019 when I was in Missoula for a training and fell in love. Such a wonderful shop with unique material. A true gem, so happy they ship! There isn't a local shop anywhere in Idaho I've been able to find with the quality garment material. My most recent project was a linen outfit for my sister who is pregnant!

I absolutely LOVE the experience of buying fabric at the Confident Stitch, whether online or in person! The service in both settings is amazing. Friendly, knowledgable staff who are interested in the particulars of your sewing project and journey. Prices are very competitive with other larger online retailers. Selection of garment and quilting fabrics is well-curated with almost everything you could need or want. And when ordering online, descriptions are thorough, photos have accurate color, delivery times are fast and items arrive well packaged with surprise little treats like silk tags or cute pins. And I absolutely LOOOVVVVEEEE the swatch club. Most enjoyable $15 you can spend. Full of inspirational ideas and lots of time at home to consider the fabrics, plan a project that suits them and then easily order online, with a discount! I really LOVE this store. I'm a first time subscriber to the swatch club and recently received the first mailing for fall. I love the way the samples are presented with not only fiber content, width, and price but also what needle to use, how to clean and suggested patterns. Shipping was very fast. Items were nicely packaged. I also really enjoy their videos and blogs. Had the chance to visit the store for the first time earlier in the year. For a store with a relatively small footprint, they have a really nice selection of quality fabric. I'm impressed with what they're doing!!
