I find it hard to get comfortable (for city walking) shoes that are not sneaker like (have tried from Rockport to Ecco to Mephisto, no luck). I do like my New Balance blacks, but even in black, they are sneakers. So I tried SH last Sept. Great! I wear the SH (Free) in preference to the New Balance, and my family doesn’t laugh at me for wearing sneakers. So good I even bought a second pair in a different color. (Only suggestion is the white soled ones look too much like sneakers, so more black sole varieties of the Free, please). Now I am hard on heels, so after 9 months I had uneven heels and wanted to take advantage of the resoling. Iwrote for a mailing label but heard nothing (this from the resoler, not SH). Figured, ah, usual crappy service, will stick with Zappos. But I did drop SH an email. I was shocked when I got a human reply saying that they were working out the resoling process, but if I sent my old shoes in, they would give me a new pair for the resoling price ($85). I did this and the process was seamless. So great comfort and great customer service. Kudos!

I am on my feet all day long. I have struggled with finding comfortable, supportive shoes. These hit the mark! Second pair as good as the first.
