disappointed
I've shopped at number six for years but this is the first time I've ordered online. I was very disappointed.
Firstly the converse I ordered were sold out, which I was refunded for - this is fine.
I live in Stamford Hill so expect delivery to take a day or two. Five days in I had no tracking number and no notification of when I might receive the items. I rang after 5 working days and no one knew what had happened. I was told at the very latest the clothes would be with me the following day (Friday) at the latest. The following day I received an email saying they'd be with me on Monday. I decided to cycle down and pick them up from the shop. All this is fine, I accept mistakes can be made.
My main discrepancy is the jeans I've been given. I ordered what I thought was (and what the website makes look like) a pair of normal Levis slim fit 511s. What you've actually given me is the commuter jeans with the reflective strips on the turn up. I accept there's a well disguised note in the product description (which I admittedly overlooked) but I feel you're trying to pass these jeans off as something they're not. Fortunately I will be getting them tailored and will ask for the reflective strips to be removed but I can't help feeling it's a shrewd move on your part in the attempt to shift commuter jeans that don't sell as well.
I might not seem like the biggest deal, but I wear my jeans with a turn up and the reflective strip looks ridiculous. Rant over. Number six is one of my favourite shops, I just expected better.
