My problem is that I waited too long to wear my Apex sneakers as my primary shoe. If you have issues with your feet, switch to Apex shoes sooner than later.

Apex shoes have been the only shoes that work for me since my stroke and I have tried dozens. Room for brace in width and height plus keep my ankle from rolling. Offer Velcro and laces although wish had more Velcro options. And wish kept all sizes in stock. And wish put Velcro heel on all styles. Ship quickly when in stock.
