Wild Things

Wild Things gear is probably the most underrated tactical apparel brand in the industry. I have been nothing but impressed with the top notch quality of their products. One thing I really appreciate about Wild Things gear is that they make their clothing with zero regard to how fashionable it looks. All of their products are durable, long lasting, and ready to be abused in the field with only the components that are necessary for your benefit in a wilderness/high risk environment. Also, not to mention Wild Things products are all USA made unlike several other competitors with similar pricing. In addition to their amazing clothing, the reps and customer service agents at Wild Things are awesome. Everyone I have ever dealt with wether via email or in person has been very kind, helpful, and informative. Overall, Wild Things is 100% worth the money and is by far one of if not my favorite tactical/outdoors clothing systems companies.

I ordered L size for this softshell as my body (chest, waist, and hip) would fit this size. However, the sleeves is a bit long, ie 35 inches. If the L size is 34 inches, it would be better (which is body in L size while sleeves in M size). Moreover, if it has a hood on head, it could use to protect wearer from rain (not heavy one, of course).

Packs small & light, and is easy on/off. Excellent "safety net" when caught out in unforeseen weather. It's small size enables it to fit anywhere (ruck/vest) without any noticeable weight increase. Works well under uniform. There is also a hood hidden in the collar. Always have one when heading out into the field because you just never know & have ended up needing.
