I have several Wallaroo hats now and love every single one of them! They are attractive, lightweight and very durable. I love the slightly wider brim that comes with the Carkella Lauren hat. Great sun protection while still being very fashionable! It's replacing my previous wallaroo hat, which I've worn daily for over a year - not because that one needs replacing, but just because I wanted another fashionable hat! I use the heck out of these hats and they hold up to it all. Think. . . outside fishing on the atlantic coast and working and riding in horsebarns daily. Neither of these activities are gentle or clean environments. These hats stand up to the challenge. Even though it's not recommended, I have put mine in the washing machine on gentle-cycle, and they've come out fine every time.
