Clothes were covered in bugs & holes!
Dropped over £100 at the start of Volcom’s sale on a hoody, 2 T’s & a cap.
After the items shipped from Europe (rather than the UK) I was pretty shocked to find a dead centipede in the package the hoody was covered in filth & had what looked like it had been chewed through on the collar. One of the T-Shirts also had a hole in it!
Customer service were unwilling to provide direct replacements to the 2 products with holes in - instead wanted them to be shipped back to Europe for a refund & for me to repurchase the items with a 10% discount, when I pointed out that this wouldn’t even cover shipping they nudged it to 20% but by that point the items had sold out.
All I needed was for a replacement item, free from bugs to be sent out but Volcom seem happy to just fob you off with a minimal discount & to put the ball in your court to sort out their issues.
I’m now left with 2 new items of clothing with holes in them!
Not at all happy with this purchase as pretty shocking service in all areas & to top it off this review form (for which they offer a 15% discount for completing!) has been sent to me in German despite my living in the UK so not entirely sure what I’m reviewing 😂
Would have left 0 stars if I could - nice one Volcom, after 20 years of wearing your garms I likely won’t be back & highly recommend that you consider your purchases with them 😞
