I love this batchel! I use it to hold my research material (yes, I still employ paper to take notes) as I trace back the history of an early Victorian house I purchased in the Midwest. The oxblood color complements any wardrobe and looks smart!

For the summer here in Maryland I have a summer straw bag for now. I do have a smaller version of this satchel bag and although I liked it is too small so I gave it to my niece. . However my new satchel is perfect for every day. I carry a bit more stuff in my handbag so this new satchel is perfect. The leather is a bit stiff but that is ok. I do love the style of this new satchel 💼 and the magnet closure. I highly recommend this bag. The delivery was quick and my satchel was carefully packaged very well.
