These inserts provide excellent support while taking up minimal room in the shoe. The absence of padding is a feature, not an issue. I do wish Superfeet still made this style without the fabric cover, which is unnecessary and tends to grab ones socks when putting the shoes on. In spite of that, I do highly recommend these.

I like the Easyfit insoles both regular & high heel. My podiatrist recommended them & I wear them in all my shoes. I wish they came in a lighter because the soles of my socks are now black & the stains don’t wash out.
