After several yeas, I lost/left my original RDB hat at an unknown location; otherwise, I would have retrieved it. Over the years of camping, hiking, white water rafting, it had its share of bumbs and bruises; however , it still look d great with personality. Missing it, I bought the same original hat to replace it. My wife also liked the hat that I got her a floppy version for her, both with retention straps. I then purchased a floppy hat for me as there are occasions where floppy is more useful than structured. We love them and hope this time none of them end up missing in action.
