My son loves these so when doing his laundry over Thanksgiving, I wrote down his size and ordered 3 shorts and a shirt for Christmas. They fit well and he loved them. Personally, I think he needs a size up but he was wears to me it is the new fashion. Who am I to argue with a young Marine. Lol
