This is a perfect bag for trips! I really love the big compartment on the bottom of the bag, you can keep your shoes separate from everything and they won’t take up as much space on top. Inside it is very roomy and all of my clothes and toiletries fit perfectly. I got the small Catalina deluxe bag in forest green. The material is very hardy and sturdy and it fits well under the seat on airplanes. I definitely would recommend this bag and all Lo and Sons products!

I'm an art historian and, in addition to my commute, I'm often moving between libraries and archives in NYC throughout the day. This bag easily and securely holds my 15" laptop and all my essentials, while looking polished and professional. Even when fully packed, it sits nicely on my shoulder and doesn't feel too heavy, and I'll be glad to have the super light travel sleeve on my next research trip. I love the key leash and the top zipper to provide an additional level of security, and the black solid leather shell seems like it will be durable. The option to switch out shells in the future was also a selling point for me! Tips & Suggestions: Be sure that the handles are fully secured to their snaps (these and heavy duty, so push hard until you hear a loud snap!); otherwise, you could have a handle detach at random times. Also, I noticed some minimal dye transfer or staining from the black handles onto the shoulder of my white top after a very long, hot, humid, rainy day when I first got the bag. So, be aware that hot, damp conditions might cause transfer to light fabrics after very prolonged contact! Other than this, my only suggestion to Lo & Sons would be to add two or three pen loops in addition to the small interior pockets, so that writing utensils are as easily accessible as my notebook, which slides perfectly into the pocket on the outside of the laptop sleeve.

Decided to buy the Hanover after borrowing my partner's for a two day trip to NYC for work (he was reluctant to let me use it because he loves it so much!). I am very pleased with it so far! I also have the OMG that I regularly use for work, but will switch it out for this when I want extra room and support for carrying things on my back. The Hanover is sleek, lightweight, and comfortable to carry. Love all the compartments (the one thing I wish it had was an inner zip pouch). The Army Green is lovely and subtle (more green than it appears in the picture, which I was glad to see). Overall a fantastic backpack, and another very quick delivery. I love Lo & Sons and will be a return customer again and again!

love carrying this bag. i can fit everything that i need, and it's easy to carry. It's comfortable on the shoulder, it has lots of room, and it is perfect for travel.

I had been eyeing this bag for months and kept searching on other sites / stores for something comparable and of comparable quality. In the end, I came back to the Catalina - I'm using it for a hospital bag and it's perfect for fitting everything I need. I love the compartments and the color is great. I know I'm going to get a lot of great use out of this bag.
