I bought my 1st. Pair of Gavel Boots in 1984 . They fitt and ware great , they will last many years , the boot I ware for work every day needs resolved in about a year but the upper will last for many years . The boots I ware casually as well as my dress boots are several years old & still look & feel great , the cow - bull hide - shark - lizard & cayman all are made with quality materials. I’ve bought Gavel boots for close to 38 years and am very pleased with them . This family takes great pride in making these boots great people with a great boot . If you buy a pair try the matching belt as well .ps I will confess I have about 12 pair ,may have to enlarge my closet .this man from Mississippi is very happy wareing Gavel Boots . God Bless !
