I got my first Flag
I got my first Flag & Anthem shirt from Sitch Fix a few years ago, and I didn't expect it become a staple of my wardrobe, but it did.
The built-in stretch makes a huge difference. As a nonbinary person who’s post–top surgery, I have a flat chest but still have hips, and finding shirts and pants that actually fit both is hard. These do. Button-downs actually button all the way without pulling, and the pants button comfortably without feeling tight or awkward. There is still some roominess in the shoulders, sleeves that need rolled up, etc, but a perfect fit usually won't happen for folks like us without getting everything custom tailored.
Bottom line, I don’t feel like I’m forcing my body into the clothes. If you’re nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, or just tired of stiff, unforgiving fits, I suggest giving Flag & Anthem a shot. This is one of those rare brands that seems to have accidentally built a product perfect for diverse bodies.
