I would like to return the schoes but I don’t know where to go

I ordered two pairs of shoes during a site-wide sale and received them about a month after (not a big deal, since they're made to order). Both were really adorable when they arrived, but they had aspects that made them uncomfortable and would scrape or cause blisters, mainly at the heel where there is stiff leather. I ended up returning one pair, because they were sandals, and I couldn't add padding or some sort of buffer without it being really obvious. I just got notification today that my refund is being processed after about a month, but all of this took place during the holidays. I love that the company is focused on ethical work practices and sustainability, and the aesthetic is great, but I would also like comfort for the price.

When I finally received the sandals, I was very excited to see that it was as gorgeous as it was on picture. However, when I tried to put them on, the ankle cuff was very tight, even after stretching the elastic to the max, it did not seem to budge much. When I eventually got my feet in, the ankle cuff was pressing against my ankles, making it painful to walk. I’d probably have to bring it to a shoe repair shop to expand the ankle cuff so that it’s wearable, which is sad because it has not even been worn yet. I wish I could give it a five star, as it was that gorgeous and the leather was that fine (and I especially like the fact that the bottom of the sandals were anti-slippery) but the elastic on the ankle cuff should have been more stretchy. FYI-my ankles are not considered big so I was very surprised, not to mention disappointed, that they did not fit. I hope the design team will consider making the elastic more expandable so that future buyers can truly experience this beauty when they take it out of the box.

Shoes are beautiful but they are too tight. Big bummer. My friend ordered true to size and her shoes fit perfect, so I don't get that?

Shoes are still very stiff after been worn dozens of times. Not soft leather at all. These were very expensive shoes and I was expecting better quality. I really wanted to like them.
