This dress is well-made and fun and looks like the photos but I used the size-chart and it's far too large. I will be getting it altered but this model runs large.

I have now purchased 5 Bali Elf shoes. The first pair, Mangrove in antique red, I have owned for about a year. They are quality shoes and I receive compliments every time I wear them. Because of this great purchase, I decided to replace all not so comfortable/quality flats that I wear frequently. Unfortunately, the fit and colors have been less than ideal. The Mangrove in Nordic Blue was an odd shade of blue that did not match the website. The other pair, emerald color Riveria, were a darker olive green and the shoe fit was loose. Both have been returned. I kept Venus in black and Georgia cut out in Vintage Camel. I like the bit of the Georgia, but the color/texture has a plastic appearance. Likely that will improve with weathering. The Venus is very cute, but slightly loose. The down side to the return is that I am responsible for the expense. Overall, I love the Mangrove in red.

The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I ordered extra padding, but they don’t feel as cushioned as I had hoped. I love the color and style and I also requested an all leather sole (for dancing). The sole is all leather but seems very thin. I hope they don’t wear out too soon.

I love my new shoes. $ star only because the toe box is a little tight for my foot.

I was pleasantly delighted by how beautifully crafted these shoes are. I was also very pleased with how flattering they are as I have a thicker leg/calf/ankle. I bought them for a trip abroad that would involve a lot of walking. I wore them prior to the trip to break them in and even my tour guide questioned my footwear decision on day one. They definitely held up and were wearable everyday (my tour guide even conceded that he had been proven wrong about how comfortable they would be). I walked A LOT for 5 days. One shoe, however, started rubbing my heel a bit and seemed to fit differently than the other after time (although I do sometimes have issues with that particular foot otherwise so could just be a me problem.)
