This was a horrible customer
This was a horrible customer experience and now I can't even get my money back. I ordered it well in advance of a halloween party. The estimated arrival date was 5 days before the party, so I figured I had plenty of padding even if there were shipping delays... but the shipping service, DHL, didn't even start moving the package to the USPS drop-off point until a day or two AFTER the estimated arrival date. The costume didn't arrive until 2 days after the party (a full week after the esimated arrival date), so I had to buy new costumes for both dogs so that they would match.
I figured I would at least try it on so I could keep it for next year, without realizing that pet costumes can only be returned if they were unopened. I could barely get this costume over my dog's neck and it absolutely did not fit his front legs despite me measuring him before ordering.
Then I went to look at the return policy. You can only return orders 15 days after the original order date. I didn't even receive this product until day 12 or 13. There is a 12% restocking fee plus it appears you have to pay for your own shipping. I would have received hardly any money back, so I guess it was at least less of a disappointment to learn that you can't return pet costumes if you had the audacity to see if they even fit your dog.
The costume looked fine, but it is not worth the risk of buying from this company given the sizing issues if you can find something even remotely similar for your pet somehwere else where the return policy is not so ridiculous and they aren't using DHL shipping.
