I had the opportunity to visit the Cockpit USA store in Manhattan and ordered my second 21st Century A-2.The staff was friendly and polite. They showed me many jackets and took the time to make sure the fit was exactly right. I was not disappointed when the jacket was delivered. The fit was perfect and the quality, in every way, was excellent. This is a trusted company.

I was issued one of these jackets while stationed in Japan in 1967. It was the sage green reversible orange color. This is one of the best all around jackets I've ever had. The supply sergeant said I could take it with me when I left Japan to be just charged and I said no thanks, I live in Southern California and I have regretted not taking that jacket home with me ever since. Cockpit USA has absolutely duplicated that jacket all the way down to the Fine thread and zippers. I would give it a 10-star rating if they allowed, but they only allow five stars. I am anxious for the winter months to get here, as it's only August right now, to wear this jacket proudly.

The folks at the Cockpit were terrific! I had to exchange my 1941 Crush Cap for a smaller size. I asked if I could exchange it at the showroom in Manhattan. Matt Aguirre made sure they had it and I dropped by for the swap. Totally painless! Highly recommended!
