I became a customer several years ago and stopped purchasing due to my less-than-ideal experiences with customer service. I love your designs and mission and decided to give CD another chance. I am really glad that I did. I have found your customer service to be friendly and courteous. One thing I would recommend is offering posted chat hours (perhaps on certain days or during certain hours so that customers can ask sizing questions) and providing sizing charts for specific items. I struggle with figuring out which size to purchase because I fall between two sizes.

TL;DR size down and the dress leans more pink than white but it's beautiful The craftsmanship that went into making this dress was clear immediately out of the packaging - it's a beautifully constructed piece. This is my first Dawn dress (though I have others from CD) so I ordered my normal size small. For reference I am 5'8'' 120 lbs; 34 x 26 x 31. The fit is boxier than anticipated but tightening it at the waist causes the front to gape. I was also surprised by the slightly puffier shoulders. The color of the pearl embroidered shade is much more pink in person, which now looking at the photos, I think is more obvious (I really just wanted a white Dawn dress that I was clearly ignoring the signs!) Overall, despite the price, this is a dress I imagine handing down to my daughter one day - the constructions is that good. In a world where $300 cotton dresses are now seemingly the norm, I am happy to pay for this level of quality and commitment to sustainability.
