First, I was very surprised by the shear size of the blade, lol. I didn't expect it to be that big. The finish is good, blade sides are fairly symmetrical, with a bit of a waver at the last inch or so (but I can live with that), and the point is good. Edges are even, so sharpening shouldn't be a problem. Tested the tang with a file and it looks like it might be running around 40-45 rockwell; a bit soft but not a negative with a blade that long. Overall, I like it!
