I purchased these for BJJ and occasionally Muay Thai training and they are perfect. Excelent fit for my wide foot, good traction but not so much that I get stuck in transitions. I am 56 with plenty of wear and tear, especially on my feet. I will buy these again if I ever wear these out.

Bought this for my son who is stationed at Fort Bragg, 82nd Airborne He wore it to his first combative training session and loved it.
