The best high desert lens ever created.
I live in the high desert where the light goes from shadows to bright sun quick and often. To make it even more variable, the dust covers every obstacle making the trail look the same.
I am a firm believer that riding glasses should IMPROVE sight, as other equipment improves their respected function. Clear lenses are pointless, do nothing to help vision, and simply make for expensive safety glasses. Photocromatic are the new fad, but simply transition too slowly.
Low light wins in my conditions. 100% had a great low light lens, but the brand became too cool for school and started purchasing their lenses from Temu. Oakley's Prism Trail is nothing short of a joke in these conditions.
Smith's Wildcat with whatever low light lens comes stock, is absolutely perfect! I've been looking for years and my only complaint is I wish I could have 50 lenses to last me the rest of my riding life.
A design gripe I could do without is the arms coming out into my peripheral. Small flaw.
Great coverage, they hold in my helmet when up top well, and feel great during long rides.
Well done, Smith!
