The Base Model v2 was my on my “mount rushmore” of all time great shoes. The base model v3 has taken everything good from the v1 and v2, and improved it. The upper is more durable and fits like a glove, and it’s wide foot friendly! (Speaking from a 2E width). The gusseted tongue is done perfectly, giving lockdown while not taking away from the feeling of freedom from the earlier iterations. The midsole is perfect, exposed outsole lets you feel just the right amount of feedback for the ground to tweak your form, but with enough cushion to go the distance. in an age of super shoes and ultra stacked trainers this shoe keeps it real to the roots, simple no-frills running. If you buy this shoe you won’t regret it!
