The Daily Trainer 2 is excellent. This shoe is obviously made for training, and it excels at it. The balance between all elements (flexibility, cushioning, drop, …) allows a good training of the body parts used in running. Especially good is the training of the proprioceptive parts of the feet without compromising on cushioning. Well done Atreyu!

I had heard of Atreyu and even tried on a pair of their OG Daily Trainer at my local REI, but I didn't really know what they were all about until I came across _michael's tariff talk on YouTube. I thought to myself, "there's someone who's business I want to support. " It's more than just that, though, because the product is a really great running shoe. The DT 2 has everything you need, and nothing you don't and I love that about this shoe. It's fitting a goldilocks niche in my shoe rotation, and edging out the competition for my miles. Stack height is just right. Midsole is just right. Outsole is just right. Upper is just right. Lacing system and tongue is just right. Heel cup is just right. All that "just right" adds up to an outstanding shoe. I use it for all kinds of runs, but it is becoming my daily driver and more than many of the other "fancier" shoes in my rotation, this shoe is easy to get into a flow state and click over miles.
