We booked for 5 nights self catering and had a wonderful time. Hotel was lovely, rooms were clean and well equipped and facilities around the resort were great. Pools were always clean and well maintained. Not the biggest range of food options by the pools but more than suitable. Beach was amazing and a short boat ride across the lake was a great way to get there. Had reservations after reading a few negative reviews before we went but can honestly say it surpassed my expectations and we’re looking at heading back next year to the same hotel as we had such a good stay. Didn’t go all inclusive so can’t comment on the food in the restaurants but plenty of options on the Main Street with some lovely choices. The only teeny tiny negative was the huge amount of mosquitoes around the mini golf course - didn’t see one all holiday and then got eaten alive while playing mini golf! Otherwise an amazing holiday, would definitely recommend!
