One of the best decisions I’ve ever made
I was the new mom who purchased the Baeba baby food maker and had already concrete plans to make my own baby food. My plan was to do purées and didn’t think much of BLW, until around my child was 6/7 months old and started to show her disdain for store bought purées. I started to make own purées at home which was great at first until I realized how costly it was to purchase every fruit and vegetables that I wanted her to try, not to mention the amount of sconce it takes up in our kitchen. Example: I don’t use turmeric at all but it doesn’t mean I don’t want my baby exposed to it. I researched other baby food delivery services and all of them seem great, i decided to go with Raised Real for a variety of reasons. Its organic and Whole Foods. Other companies only offer purées and you can’t actually opt out of certain ingredients. My child has allergies and I also didn’t like the idea that it’s only purées all the way around. Raised Real gave me options to choose what fruits or vegetables I don’t want, ingredients that I’m happy giving my child and knowing that it’s giving her excellent nutritional value. In the beginning, I would just steam and purée the food, but the past two plus months, my child had been eating it whole and chopped. It’s so great to see her develop such a sophisticated palate, thanks to this company. Also, I’d like to add that their customer service is great.
