Disappointed
This was my first purchase from Chicco and probably my last, as I was disappointed with the customer service or lack thereof. I placed this order online because I had a coupon to get half off and it seemed like a great deal. After placing my order online, I received a voicemail from Chicco asking me to verify my shipping address. I called back but was unable to reach a live human, so I tried utilizing the email address listed on their website for customer service, and verified my shipping address that way. Unfortunately I did not receive a response, only a new email days later indicating that my order had been canceled. I again tried calling and finally was able to reach someone. The woman was very unfriendly and unhelpful, telling me there was nothing she could do for me because once an order was canceled it could not be reinstated. I explained that I was still would like to order the item and asked to speak to someone else who could help me re-order it and verify any information for them right then and there. The next woman I spoke to was not very friendly either, never offering an apology or explanation as to why my original order was canceled. But she did help me place the order again, then hung up on me as soon as it was complete, without even saying thank you or goodbye. The balance bike that I got for my son was easy to put together and it’s cute, but it doesn’t have any type of foot rest to put his feet up when he picks up speed. It was a good deal but such a hassle that it wasn’t worth it and I would try a different company next time.
