I have both a wrap and a carrier. My son was born in May and with a two year old brother I knew we would be out a lot during the summer. I tried a few different “light weight wraps” but they always ended up with both him and me being way too hot. Then I tried my baby beluga, it’s so lightweight and breathable! Even in 30c+ weather I didn’t mind wearing it and he loved being in it! Then on top of that, being able to breastfeed in it on the go without having to re-tie the wrap to reposition baby… Amazing! You can confidently look after baby while keeping up with a toddler. I was a little heartbroken when he was too old for the wrap but then saw that they were offering a carrier. I was hesitant about the price as we already had a different carrier but I wasn’t really loving it. He’s a big baby and it was hurting my back carrying him in it. I decided to try it out anyway as I loved the wrap so much and it is a game changer! Again, it is so lightweight, soft and breathable! i can wear him for a few hours out and about without thinking about it. It has given me my hands back on those hard days when he is teething or just needs to be near me. I am set for the summer! It is so comfortable (although it did take a few tries to find the right way to wear it). My almost three year old also loves getting to go it in on my back. If you are thinking about getting one, DO IT!!!
