I purchased the wall to bannister barrier and am pleased with the quality. I have two children who have had their fair share of climbing up the stairs and this was a quick and easy solution. The product is easy to assemble while still being functional. I purchased a taupe color as my stairs a neutral carpet and I like how you may not even notice the gate as it blends in unlike the metal gates.

Needed a banister to banister solution and wanted to find something that wouldn't look like an eye sore and didn't require us to drill any holes into our walls/banisters. We needed a safe solution to block our 15 month old from climbing on the stairs. After doing a lot of research, this really was the only product that would work for us and we're so happy we got it. I can also easily open it and roll it to the side with one hand ,while holding the baby. I really like that we can roll it up and keep it off to the side, when we don't need it to block our baby from the stairs. Highly recommend!!

If you had full bannisters on both sides it would work but I have bannisters in only one side, the other side is a wall with just a hand rail. So there is nothing to connect the bottom of that side to. The dogs sneaks through.
