It was super easy to install, and fairly quick to open up. I have unique stairs with double banisters and this was a great good looking solution. My daughter is five, so I can’t really test it yet, it’s for when my niece comes over. But if it were for me I would prefer a latch gate if my stairs could accommodate that. Opening every time I had to go up would be annoying. But for keeping guests out it will be awesome.

Ordering was a breeze. I received two custom stair barriers in a week. I was very impressed with how quickly they arrived. They were super easy to assemble and look absolutely amazing with my decor.
