Useful information, hard to use format

It has taken me a while to get started in using the little ones program because I found the user experience and layout of the ‘app’ quite problematic and not at all enjoyable. It’s not really an app, and instead directs you to more of a webpage, which is not very intuitive in its layout and organisation. However once you figure out how to navigate the information presented I have found it to be useful and a good guide for navigating months 3-4 with our baby. I’ve not followed it to the letter but have taken elements that work for us and built them into our routine and how we settle our baby for sleep. During the few weeks we’ve been using the programme my little boy has settled himself to sleep a few times, and our nap times have definitely improved

In theory a great program. Practically, not for my baby

My DD has got medical issues, following prolonged health issues and surgery shortly after she was born. I was hoping that the Little Ones sleep program would help. The advice, research and theories are excellent to read, but they do not work for my DD. She will not prescribe to a set routine of naps etc as feeding, for her, is painful... so I cant feed her just before she goes to sleep. The self soothing methods do not work for my DD as her tummy is often sore and needs comfort from us to help her to sleep. A good program for a child with no medical issues. For us, it's just been a good read and a rough guide to how things 'should be' if our child found feeding easy. Feeding and sleep are so heavily linked and I think the program needs to identify for children with feeding complications.

Too structured

We’ve stopped using the program after three weeks, the newborn schedules are too structured too keep up with as a parent and our sons sleep got worse all around. We’ve moved back to our old routine and he’s sleep 8-7 waking only once. The overall information has been helpful.

Not bad if you have no idea what you doing

good routines and has good tips however certain things might just not work - like long naps etc and there’s no explanation how to really fix it.

Sleeps

It is good for knowing when to put LO down but I found it so regimented and my baby still sleeps the same even when I am not going by those nap hours
