Feedback and nap issues

Hi, I am very happy with the results of the LO app with my baby. She is 11months and she is able to settle to sleep when I bring her to her room and put in the bed at night time. When she wakes up in the middle of the night she goes back to sleep alone without crying which means that now she sleeps straight from 7pm to 5.30/6am to drink milk and back to sleep until 7.15am some nights, others she sleeps straight from 7am to 7.30am. Before using the LO program she needed us to rock her for sleeping. Should I work early wake up? Or is fine if she goes back to sleep after feeding? However, she fights every single day in the morning and after lunch nap. We have followed the method but not working for the naps for my daughter. She only goes to sleep in the naps in the morning if she sleeps in the trolley, which is fine because it is only for 20 minutes. However she only sleeps the afternoon naps if the nanny brings her to bed. If either my husband or me put her in the bed for the after lunch naps, she stands up and cries and screams. I don't want her to sleep that nap in the trolley because she only sleeps for 1 hour and that's not enough. It is so frustrating for me. Why she goes to bed happy with me in the night time but not in the naps? I am following the scheduled in the app, in my opinion it is one of the best parts and it is really helpful. Thanks very much, Emma

Great resource, but some inconsistencies between consultants

This resource has been great for giving me an idea about baby sleep and how to schedule our days, however Ive been active on the village and i really feel alot of inconsistencies between the answers from consultant to consultant. Ofcourse they are different people with different opinions and approaches but there should be some level of uniformity that’s sometimes not there as i get different answers on similar topics

Comprehensive

A very useful package of information to help many mums work out a routine for their little ones. Unfortunately I didn’t find the results we were looking for with our first born but grateful for what I learnt while trying it out. A comprehensive tool box, especially handy for first time mummas.

I first began LO because

I first began LO because my 3 month old was nursing to sleep all the time and she would not go down for the night until 11 30. She was also struggling with tongue tie and took a long time to eat. She had her surgery at the same time we started LO. The improvement was phenomenal. By day 3 of LO she was going to sleep at 7 pm with me rolling her on her side, shush and patting her but for 1 to 2 minutes and I would walk out and she would coo and talk and roll around until she went to sleep by herself. She would wake at 7 am with me doing a dream feed at 10. I never thought it could happen so quickly! The only negative thing is that daycare can not replicate the awake times or dark room for sleep which she has become heavily reliant on. So she does not sleep at daycare but she still goes down easily for me at night and she is now almost 6 months. The video is her cooing before going to sleep on her own. Before LO she was only happy in my arms and after LO she was happy to be by herself in her crib. Sleep training does not need to be difficult is what I learned with this program. This is my 3rd child, my 2 previous babies were sleep trained with babywise. I've finally learned that you can enjoy holding and cuddling your baby and teaching them to be independent in their beds at the same time. This program should be for all mommies and not just the struggling, sleep deprived!

Sanity saver!

So glad I found Little Ones! As first time parents we had no idea about baby sleep - we thought he would just go to sleep when he was tired! Boy were we wrong! We started Little Ones around 4 months, in anticipation of the dreaded regression. Learning about awake windows and nap times was the game changer. Just by getting the correct amount of awake time for his age made a big difference, and he almost went to sleep instantly! We love the routine and predictability, and the fact that our baby sleeps through most nights now!
