When my baby boy was a newborn, I very quickly got sick of swaddling my baby, especially with the frequent night wakes and nappy changes. I wanted to try something with a zip to make things easier. I tried swaddle bags that were arms up and my baby didn’t take to them and didn’t like his arms up near his face and it disrupted his sleep. So I decided to try the ergopouch cocoon swaddles as they were arms down. My baby LOVED it and slept much better and kept warmer too. Sometimes if he got overtired when I’d try feed him before putting him to bed for the night, I’d swaddle him and it would calm him so he could take in a big feed. And during the night when I fed, I could keep him swaddled which made for an easier and less disruptive return to bed. Now my little on is nearing rolling, so I will begin transitioning him which is possible by taking his arms out of the buttoned holes-this means I’ll continue to get great wear out of the swaddles but he can be arms out! I look forward to purchasing more ergopouch products as my baby grows!
