Dress is so beautiful on my 3 almost 4 yo. I ordered her the 4t, it fits true to size, and yes there is a good amount of stretch, but because of the high quality material being a tad bit thicker (it retains it's shape beautifully), I'd say it will likely feel to snug for her in less time than I expected (she tugs on the waistline in an effort to reset the spot where the dress rests on her ribcage often, I wish the waistline seam was an inch lower) but in the meantime she looks so precious in this rainbow plaid dress and she can play so hard in it. Playground structures are no problem!
