There really isn't any customer

There really isn't any customer support. One of my carriage bolts / wing knob nuts was miss threaded so I reached out to customer support to purchase a replacement. I was told "we do not have replacement parts available for the majority of Tuffy products", and "the only option for obtaining a functional unit it so purchase a new product". They did say that if I provided the item part numbers they will look into their inventory to see if they can find it. Unfortunately, there were no part numbers on my instruction sheet, only part names, which I used in my request to them.

Product Did Not Fit - Terrible Customer Service

I am extremely dissatisfied with the Tacoma Truck Bed Lock Box I received. The screw holes on the box did not align with the holes on the truck. Initially Tuffy customer service was receptive to my issues and asked for photos to assist. They then went totally silent. I followed up twice with no response. I filed for an RMA# with no response. Filed again, no response. I have requested a full refund, but frankly suspect Tuffy purposefully dragged their support process out past their 10-day refund window. Tuffy emailed me a review request, which is interesting as it is the only contact I have had from them. I would rate it lower than one star if I could, but I suppose the shipping was fairly prompt so they deserve something more than zero. Will not be ordering their products in the future.

Poor packaging and a lot of work to get a refund

Product arrived damaged due to poor packaging. I initially thought I had received an open box item, but after reading other reviews regarding similar damage it seems that this might simply be how it is packaged at the factory. Individual components were not wrapped well. Instead, they placed loose sheets of bubble wrap between the items allowing things to shift and get scratched and dented during shipping. It took about 6 weeks to get an initial refund, and they held back about $60 for shipping. Still working on trying to get my last $60 back. Ugh! Wish me luck:)

Request what is included before buying

Shipping was fast , packaging good and website easy to use. This is where it ends. The pictures on the website are misleading and in no way what I received. There was no add on available only the item I purchased. There were no disclaimers that items in the pictures were only representative of the product not what you get. The under seat storage box is well made. The pictures show gun racks and carpeting. What I got was a metal box without any of the items in the pictures. I contacted customer support who agreed the website was misleading but offered no solution other than for 69.95 more plus shipping and tax I can purchase the extra items. There was no apologies or offers of a reduced amount to receive what the pictures showed. Since posting on Facebook my experience I was not surprised to see additional comments of the same issue for purchases they made. This to me is false advertising. Will never purchase another Tuffy product.
