Overall this center council lock box works great. I am not sure why it needs to be in so many different pieces, which made installation a bit difficult. I do like the product though and it seems very secure.

Item came damaged in the box. The box appeared to be re-taped with packing tape. So thinking it was a return that got shipped back out. The small lid was bent near the corner next to the hinge. Causing the lid not to be square. I was able to bent it back so the lid would line up with the body of the box, but you can still see the bent metal. Mounting was simple. To be picky would have liked the box to be the next gauge thicker metal for the price.

Pretty good security box. Had a funny rattle/vibration that I cured with some tape around the lock latching bolt. Aside from that, works great!

Ordering extra keys for my Jeep Wrangler lock box was a wee bit confusing. I wanted 2 keys. I ordered what I thought was 2 keys. Nope. Received 4 keys. Worse things have happened. And, 4 keys for $20 is a better deal than 2 keys for $20 no matter how one looks at it. Silly me, I thought Tuffy was being benevolent. Again, nope. Order 1 and you get 2 keys. You get it. Also, was not aware of their generous military discount. Next time.

I had to modify the mounting bracket's, purchase screws that would fit and not rust and modify the interior of the console to fit the main frame for the door to fit correctly.
