Hi,we are not hiring our campervans until Feb 2018 so why ask for a review now?

What was to be a great long weekend away in a fully self contained camper was wrecked by a Van with several malfunctions that Mighway should have been aware of, if they actually checked and tested the van prior to hiring it out. The fridge light worked but not the actual fridge, Hot water heater continually failed to work, until we hit the regulator several times and finally got the pilot to work on the second day. Then the water ran out after approx 15 litres were used at which point the grey water tank reached capacity. Fair to say neither of those tanks were checked before the van was handed over to us. Forget watching the automatic satellite TV, that didn't work either. Then there was the toaster that needed holding down to work and the Microwave with a broken door hinge. We called the 0800 assist line several times only to be put through to Mighway in Bush rd Albany, surprise they are not open on weekends. So no help there or call backs for any messages we left. To top it all off, when we arrived home and cleaned the van out I found an empty V Can under the passengers seat that had been modified with various holes and appeared to have been used to smoke a certain non smelling illegal and toxic substance. Overall a bad experience and the last time we will use a Camper Van from mighway.

Just to say that the van was perfect - very clean , well kitted out and in great shape. Our pick up was not so smooth owing to Mighway and RV not communicating a change of date, so the van was not ready - but this was overcome pretty quickly. Otherwise, all good, many thanks!

Our motor home broke down and we were stuck in a car park for 2 days even though we had the highest insurance we could. We have sent in a request to be compensated but have had no response from your company. Leigh Budd +61439737963

We paid over $1500 for an 8 night hire of a motorhome. We are local NZers living a 5 minute drive from the RV super centre, their location was handy. We got back and returned it full of diesel, gas and all possible grey water emptied. They have now indicated we caused damage and emailed to tell us they were going to charge an excess of $500. I replied within 35 minutes saying we did not cause any damage and I wanted to have a meeting on site with Joy and Tamara, as obviously they don't communicate ... but no response to my email and the $500 excess has been debited. I don't trust them. Be warned
