OCD Review : Overall Excellent
Materials: These Are Not Full Grain Leather Seat Covers, However This Is Not Abnormal As 99% Of Automotive Genuine Leather Seat Covers Are Constructed Like This. The Genuine Leather Sections Of The Cover Use Real Cut Leather Base Layer With A Vinyl Top Grain.
Construction: The Sections Of The Backrest And Seat Bottom That Contact The Body Are The Genuine Leather. The Sides And The Back Are All Vinyl (just how OEM automotive genuine leather seats are constructed) What's Really Nice Is The Vinyl Top Grain Of Both The Full Vinyl And Genuine Leather Portion Match In Color And Texture.
Headrests: They Are Made Entirely Of The Genuine Leather Material. They Are Designed To Go Over The OEM Headrest Covers. This Style Of Headrest Has A Non Removable Cover. These Are Harder Than Expected To Install As They Fit Very Tight Fitting. Fitment Is Very Good, Seems Are Very Nice And Overall Shape Is Excellent.
Headrest Embroidery: I Sent Them A Picture, Some Scale Measurements, Thread Color Information And References. They Replicated The Logo Very Well. It's Not Identical, Came Out A Little Smaller, But Would Only Notice If The Original Is Right Next To It. Overall The Logo Came Out Awesome.
I Installed These Myself As A First Timer. Fitment Of The Seat Covers Depends On The Installer. I Steamed My OEM Foams Extensively To Decompress The Foam As Much As Possible. I Repaired All Rips And Damaged Sections Of Foam.
Bottom Cushion: I Added 1" Tapered Foam To The Seat Bottom Cushion Spring Side Center. Added A Strip Of 1" Foam To The High Traffic Bolster Side On The Seat Frame Side Of Cushion. Then I Added A 1/2" Layer Of Tapered Foam Directly On The Top Side Of Seat Bottom Cushion.
Back Rest Cushion: Added Added 1" Tapered Foam To The Back Rest Cushion Spring Side For Better Lumbar Support.
Heating Elemets: 2 Layers Of Heating Elemets Were Added To The Back Rest And Seat Bottom Cushions, These Added An Additional 1/4" Of Material.
Fitment Seat Bottom: Fitment Was Really Nice With The Addition Foam And Material. It's Almost Too Puffy But Will Help Keep The Cover Supported. The Jute Side Of The Cover Fits Kind Of Loose For Some Reason. Both The Seat Bottom Covers Are Missing The Seat Belt Locator Loops But It's Not That Big Of Deal. Fitment Of The Console Side Is A Little Lumpy But You Cant See That Side When Seats Are Installed.
Fitment Passenger Backrest: The Fitment Was Also Really Nice With The Added Lumbar Foam, And 1/4" Of Heating Elemet. It's Ever So Slightly Loose On The Upper Back Section But Not Enough To Need Addressing. A Few Seams Are A Little Uneven But Acceptable.
DRIVER SEAT BACK AIRBAG MODEL: Unfortunately With The Added Material, The Seat Air Bag Cutout Prevents The Cover From Sitting Evenly. The Additional Tension Pulls The Cover Leaving A Big Gap Between Air Bag And Causes It To Wrinkle On The Back Side. Id Recommend Not Adding Any Material To The Back Rest Foam On Air Bag Equipped Seats For Best Fitment.
Overall It's A Very Nice Set Of Seat Covers. They Are Not Perfect But Neither Were The OEM Covers.
