The purchase was a TMS headlight module for a BMW F10 from 2013. It's a bit tricky to get the right part, as is seems that BMW was going through a period of great experimentation at the time. . . The part was spot on for my car and the seller's description helped a lot. I have installed it without the need for cancelling fault codes. However, the front indicator is now out of sync with the back one and it looks like a Christmas tree on wheels. I understand that this issue is solved by some coding in the proprietary BMW software, which I was trying to avoid.
