Great experience start to finish. DE Porsche Parts actually had rebuilt convertible catches/latches for my 1996 Porsche. Porsche no longer makes this part so rebuilt is the only way to go. Of course, because it’s a Porsche, there is a left and right catch for the top so some places only have the right or the left not both. I totally lucked out when I found DE Porsche Parts online. In addition to the catches/latches there is a motor for the convertible so I replaced that and I needed a motor for the driver’s side seat and replaced that as well. One stop shop for parts. Be aware, rebuilt parts there is a “core charge” on top of the cost of the part. You must send DE Porsche Parts the old parts (catches/latches) back to get that “core charge” refunded. I learned this is a common practice for parts that are not produced by Porsche anymore.
