Seems to be a solid braking solution, fairly easy to install with integrated harness
Having installed a 'knee-knocker' on my daughter's previous pickup, when she got a new one, I looked into this REDARC brake solution. I ordered it with the appropriate Nissan Frontier-specific harness, and the dash plate - which fit nicely into the knock-out on the Frontier's dash. Took me about 45 minutes to install; my daughter's trailer is in Georgia so I plugged it into mine (didn't pull it as it's too big for her truck) but all the lights and so on expected per the calibration instructions worked as advertised. She'll be pulling her RV back from a dealership in Georgia this week and will let me know how it works. I was able to install the module on a metal plate on behind the kick-plate with a couple of short self-drilling screws, and had plenty of cable slack to hook up to the Nissan's factory brake connector and also to the knob in the dash. Looks good - almost like a 'factory' trailer brake solution.
