Very Disappointed

We have used Safelite several times on several vehicles but this experience was far from the professional and good experience we are used to. One appointment cancelled by Saelite and found out not through a phone call but stopping by satellite. Can’t reach local office on the phone… Not Good. wAited for hours only to find out they could not recalibrate my car. Than had to bring back as gasket was sticking out.

Lack of care for trim

I had to point out wrinkles and dents in the trim otherwise technician would not have addressed.

Poor communication. Very late. Had to call for help.

Terrible communication on behalf of the repair tech. Our appointment was from between 8 AM and noon at 12:30. We finally had to call corporate to find out if they were even showing up. We sat around all day waiting for him to find out they wasn’t even gonna be able to make it until closer to 3 PM, then when tech arrived, we gave him a large part of our garage and he still needed us to move things all around for him so we had more than 6 feet on both sides and 5 feet in front of the truck for the repair and if he would’ve came during the original appointment time he would’ve beat all the rain and wouldn’t have even needed to be in the garage.

It is despicable that SAFELITE

It is despicable that SAFELITE advertises a windshield including labor at under $400, and has a box that u mist check saying there may be a slight charge to (forgot their word but same as) program the windshield. They get it installed and the programming charge costs MORE than the windshield, labor, and their travel to do the job! Upcharging and upselling happen every day, but to require it and not reveal the cost, and the cost to be that ridiculously high is ridiculous. I will use Cassidy and Self and my family of 10 cars will too from now on.
