I bought these for when my trunk and saddle bags are full. As of yet, other than testing them out, I haven't used them on an actual trip. They were easy to install and, after playing with for a little bit, easy to use. You just want to make sure you have a hold of your helmet when unlocking, which their video and instructions tell you. Most won't even know they are there.
