I bought the aluminum arm kit for my Big Tex dump trailer as I was done with having to manually pull the tarp over a loads of cactus. With only having to add a small spacers to each side, the kit installed in about 20 minutes, works with the factor tarp, and now I can cover and uncover loads of cactus and mesquite limbs in seconds and not have to be near the load! Points of install: To clear the sides of the trailer, I used 2x2 square steel tubing. Also, 1 spring on each side provides sufficient tension to unroll the tarp and also to be able to manually crank it back.
