In addition to being the only place I could find that offered a stand-alone skid plate for the Badlands transmission that fit with the other factory skids, ASFIR also had the item available (instead of weeks or months out). Additionally, ASFIR shipped the plate quickly. The plate was an easy bolt-on. I have no clue why Ford couldn't have figured out a similar one.
