I really like my new bumper. It was pretty straight forward to put together and with a little help from a buddy. We had it finished in a couple days. I hit a small bear a couple months earlier and tore my stock bumper up on my truck. Given the same weather, stopping distance and same size bear I can confidently say that bear wouldn’t have even dented my new bumper. I can also say that me and my buddies all enjoy standing around admiring how slick my truck looks. Now that the bumper isn’t zip tied together and the head lights aren’t hanging loose. I would highly recommend getting a weld it yourself bumper. The service was great, the instructions are straightforward and there are plenty of videos to go along with the instructions. Between the feeling of accomplishment, the peace of mind knowing I am not gonna total my truck and the pride that comes along with building your own bumper. I would say it is a fantastic investment.
