Being a low mileage driver, it makes sense.

Metromile is so affordable. I had a few incidents on my record and every insurance company wanted to charge me $500-$600 which I could not do especially since I only drive short distances. Metromile was the best choice by far. Low rates and a modern take on car insurance . It was a little iffy at first because it means they knew everywhere I went but it turned out to be a great thing. When I park my car on a street that is about to be street cleaned Metromile sends an alert to my phone. So grateful definitely got out of a couple sweeper tickets because of that.
