I was disappointed to find that only a chassis mount shifter would work for my 2001 325ix, but after installing it, I’m thrilled. I originally purchased the Supreme shifter thinking it would work (I missed the part on the website where it told me it wouldn’t work). Obviously the Supreme wouldn’t work for my application, and I realized that before damaging it. The people at Garagistic worked with me to exchange the Supreme for the chassis mount. Very kind of them. The shifts are crisp and smooth. It has tons of adjustment. I was worried about drilling the holes to mount it at first, but that was actually easy and not too intrusive. Very happy with it and very happy with Garagistic. I’ve bought several more items from them since then.
